A small anime & manga shop I lived by during uni had a few of the Yokai Watch keyring blind bags in. Even before I knew of Yokai watch I was a big yokai fan so grabbed one, and when I became a BIGGER fan I grabbed the rest, ending up with Robonyan, Walkappa, Blazion, Kyubi, and Venoct.

Unfortunately Walkappa became victim to our family dog and was chewed up a bit. However I decided to fix him up by giving him a new base. Though I don't have easy access to resin to properly copy his original base, I'm very happy with the more realistic take I chose to follow, and even more happy that he's a fully functioning keyring again.

Was cleaning up garage a little and found a lot of my Yokai Watch stuff and some of my Nintendo 3ds games today so did some Yokai Watch fanart sketches of Baku And Walkappa.... as well as make a video talking about Yokai watch games and anime while sketching a little bit

Fact #25

An image that can be found in the files of Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch shows what looks to be an early version of the original game's bottom screen battle interface. It has a few interesting differences from the final game, such as Tattletell looking to be of the Charming tribe, which is shown with a red color instead of pink with its unity, and Whisper being on the team, and of the Slippery tribe, which he was later introduced as in Yo-kai Watch Blasters.
